My coin won't scan

Scanning items generally works pretty flawlessly, but there are some things that can at times trip things up at times. Remember these tips:

The browser will ask for permission to use the camera on the device, be sure to approve this request.
The holder will in certain lighting conditions create a glare that can get in the way of the barcode.
Low lighting makes it difficult for many cameras to focus, seek out plenty of natural light, be sure the image in the view finder is in focus.
Place the barcode in the center of the scanning line, and fill the frame. Sometimes it is better to zoom the camera rather than move the camera too close (which can create focus issues for some cameras)
Some barcodes (particularly PCGS) can be cut off and are not readable. You will need to add those items to your stack manually.
More modern mobile phones are the best to scan with. Laptop cameras are notoriously low quality and have a more difficult time.

Is there a Stacking fee?

All members who joined during our BETA period (created an account prior to June 1, 2022) have been grandfathered in with the ability to have unlimited items in their stack.

Accounts who enroll for FREE accounts after June 1, 2022 can stack UP TO 100 items (for FREE) If an account holder wishes to stack more than 100 items they can either 1) pay $199 (link is in the profile), or 2) be a 7k premium member and enter the code that is visible on their 7k dashboard. Once this is complete the 100 item limit is removed and unlimited items may be stacked.

Can I take my own photos of my items?

Absolutely. On the item editor If you click on "add images" the "my files" you will find the option for you to either attach an image from your photos or take an image with your camera.

What is the sound money wallet?

Accepted Answer

The Sound Money Wallet is a platform that allows users to purchase fractional gold and silver and a platform to store that gold and silver to later sell back (convert) immediately to cash. Or request that the physical silver and gold be delivered to a member via mail.

Once linked, the cash ledger balance in a sound money wallet may be used inside Stack-n-Sell as a form of payment to purchase items from the marketplace. The linked Sound Money Wallet may also be used to receive funds for sellers who have sold items in the marketplace.

Adding the Sound Money Wallet as a form of payment is easy. On the settings page, there is a link to add a new form of payment. The default "type" is credit card, but selecting "sound money wallet" from the drop down will expose the token input form. A valid token is required and can be generated in the Sound Money Wallet via the "3rd Party Application" setup, more instruction on how to obtain the token can be found here.

What is stacking?

Stacking is the active of storing items in our property asset tracking software. You may scan anything you would like to. Only items that are graded and have been scanned into your stack may be listed for sale in the marketplace. As an added feature, the items which have been scanned into your stack will also track their market value.

Question 6

I sold multiple coins, can I send them to you in a single package?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you absolutely can send multiple coins in the same package. Just be certain you are sending the proper serial number to us, there are very clear instructions in the email.

We only ask that you not hold on to orders waiting to sell another item so you can send them together, this is frustrating for buyers and could lead to fines for non timely delivery of the coins you sold.
